- The ZVOX 415 is only 30.5w x 5 d x 5.5 h. With the optional wall-mount bracket, it can be mounted on the wall below your TV. It will also easily fit on a shelf above or below your TV. Everything is inside the compact cabinet speakers, amplifier, virtual surround sound circuitry and powered subwoofer. The ZVOX 415 requires only one simple connecting cord. Hook it up to the analogue audio output jacks on your TV or your TVs headphone jack, connect the power cord, sit back and enjoy.
- The ZVOX proprietary PhaseCue virtual surround system to gives you rich, three-dimensional sound. PhaseCue creates an incredibly large soundstage it literally sounds like you are listening to audio speakers placed eight feet apart from each other. When listening to a movie, the soundtrack envelopes you, putting you in the middle of the action.
- The PhaseCue system mixes different combinations of the left and right-channel audio signals in and out of phase and sends them to the various speaker drivers to create an impressive sound stage far larger than the box itself.
- Virtual surround sound: The 415 uses ZVOX's proprietary PhaseCue virtual surround sound system. PhaseCue, as its name implies, manipulates the phase of the separate audio channels to fool the ear into believing that sound is coming from a variety of sources throughout the room. Live music and movie soundtracks will deliver rich, three-dimensional sound.
- The 415 uses specially treated long-excursion main speaker drivers. All speaker magnets are powerful Neodymium models that are magnetically shielded. The cabinet is constructed with MDF (medium density fibreboard), the same material used in most high-end loudspeakers.
- The 415 is bi-amplified, using a specially designed amplifier that includes electronic contouring for superb frequency response.
- The 415's 4 subwoofer uses a high-mass long-throw design and incorporates a 4 passive radiator for accurate low bass reproduction.
- The 415's three 3.25" main speaker drivers use ferrofluid and neodymium magnets to create remarkably loud, remarkably clear sound.
- The speaker system is magnetically shielded so it can be used near a TV or monitor.
- Unlike most systems in its category, the 415 is constructed of MDF (medium density fibreboard). MDF is the preferred construction material for high-performance speaker systems.
- The 415 uses the ZVOX Infinite Compliance System - which connects the outer two main speakers with an inner acoustic tube. This system helps create big sound from a small cabinet.
- A rear subwoofer output jack is available for connection of a separate powered subwoofer (optional).
- Auto-on/auto-off circuit senses sound from a source (TV, iPod, PC) and turns on the 415 two seconds later. Approximately three minutes after it has received no signal, it automatically shuts the unit off.
